Treads are an independent charity who provide a valuable service to the local community of Blandford Forum and surrounding rural towns and villiages.  We help, support and empower hundreds of young people each year through some of their toughest times. A time in their lives where they are very vulnerable to the dangers and stresses that life can throw at them. Our team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to help enhance their confidence, self esteem and their abilities to form healthy relationships with others and to develop a greater consideration for others, their community and environment. We provide opportunities for young people to develop skills where by they can face some of life's challenges which we hope will then lead them to fulfilment and self confidence. We are therefore reliant on regular support from the community, local funders and grants from other trusts and foundations. Without this we could not provide the services which helps so many of our local young people.
